Definition:

            An acute viral infection causing high temperature sore that and swollen lymph glands, especially in the neck.

Causes,  Incidence and Risk Factors:

            The infection is caused by two viruses namely  Epstein Barr virus  and Cytomegalo virus, both members are the same  herpes virus family.
