Description:

A herb with thick, much branched rhizome and several erect stems. Leaves very large, narrow with narrow with one strong median vein. Flowering stock arises near the base of the stem, flowers are white are pale green. Fruits are ovoid many seeded triangular brownish black. It is found particularly in the moist forest of hilly regions in Mysore and Kerala. 

Uses :

Promote digestion, relieving flatulence.

How to Use:

It usually consumed in culinary purpose.
